"Thanks for being my best man, Clark." Bruce said. It was almost time to begin the wedding. Clark double-checked for the ring. The ring was Martha Wayne's and Bruce knew she would want him to give it to his wife. Bruce was now anticipating the beginning of the ceremony, mainly because he hadn't seen Diana in a few days. Diana wanted to ensure traditions were followed.
"I'm not going to see you for a few days, Bruce" she said a few days ago. "Apparently it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride." "You're being superstitious," Bruce replied, "and isn't it only the day of the wedding that we aren't suppose to see each other?" Diana laughed. "I know it's the day of but with our reputations and with the track record we have of bad luck constantly happening, I want to make sure no bad luck finds us." They kissed and Diana flew off into the night sky, leaving Bruce staring at her, smiling from her logic. Bruce thought he could manage a few days but it has been a rough couple of days for hi
