The ring was Martha Wayne's and Bruce knew she would want him to give it to his wife. Bruce was now anticipating the beginning of the ceremony, mainly because he hadn't seen Diana in a few days. Diana wanted to ensure traditions were followed.
"I'm not going to see you for a few days, Bruce" she said a few days ago. "Apparently it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride." "You're being superstitious," Bruce replied, "and isn't it only the day of the wedding that we aren't suppose to see each other?" Diana laughed

Clark smiled. He always knew Bruce felt this way but it was never said. Clark never wanted to push Bruce more than what he felt comfortable. Clark embraced Bruce and Bruce returned the hug.
